Crockpot Pizza Potluck

Crockpot Pizza Potluck 1 Box elbow or Spiral Pasta (uncooked but rinsed) 1 pound lean ground beef 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 cup sliced pepperoni 16 ounces pizza sauce or pasta sauce 1/4 cup water 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Spray crock pot with non-stick spray. Brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and green bell pepper. Drain excess fat. Rinse pasta and place in the crock-pot with drained ground beef mix. Stir. Pour Pasta sauce and 1/4 cup water over noodle mix. Top with shredded Mozzarella. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Read More »

Slow Cooker Peach Compote/Pie Filling

8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced (or chopped) 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup brandy, optional 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cubed 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions Place sliced or chopped peaches in a large bowl and toss together with sugars, brandy, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Pour mixture into slow cooker and top with cubed butter. Turn slow cooker on LOW and cook for 1 1/2-2 hours, stirring halfway through, or until peaches are tender and sauce is thick and syrupy. Crock Pot Cheesy Cheesiest Cheeseburger Soup 

Thanks Rachel Cox! 1 lb of hamburger meat, browned 1/2 onion diced 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle 3 potatoes, peeled and diced 8 ounces of cubed cheese (cheddar or velveeta) 3 cups of chicken stock 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbs of Worchestershire sauce 1/2 cup of celery, diced (optional) 1/2 cup ketchup 1 tsp of pepper 1 tbs of salt Cook all ingredients on low for 6-8 hours and top with a sprinkle of cheese if desired. Taco salad


2 lbs. ground beef 2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. onion powder Taco seasoning packet 1 small onion, minced  1 clove garlic, minced  1/2 tsp. oregano Place all of your spices in a bowl and mix it up.Crumble your raw ground beef into your crock.Sprinkle your seasoning onto your beef and stir it up. Cook HIGH for 1 hour to “brown” the beef a bit. Stir it up and break it up a bit. Then, cook it on LOW for 5-6 hours, or on HIGH for 2.5-3 hours. I took out quite a bit of grease before serving. 6-8 lb. ham 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, divided 1 can pineapple tidbits with juice Directions Ham: Spray bowl of large slow cooker with non-stick spray. Spread 1 cup of brown sugar in the bottom of the bowl. Place ham in slow cooker, large flat, cut side down. If ham doesn’t fit well cut off end and put the extra down the side. Pour can of pineapple tidbits with juice over the ham. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of brown sugar over the top of the ham. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.    Read More »

Beef Guiness Stew 

3-4lb chuck arm roast OR lamb cutlets, (excess fat removed)1/4 cup olive oil (I used extra virgin) sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 large onion, chopped OR 1 cup chopped shallots 4 stalks celery (cut into one inch pieces) 2 cabbage leaves, thinly sliced (optional) 1 small can tomato paste (about 1/4 cup) 3 cups beef broth 12 oz. Guinness stout beer 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 3 large carrots, (peeled and cut into one inch pieces) 20 red baby bliss or yellow baby Dutch potatoes (the tiny ones) OR substitute diced rutabaga, turnip and/or parsnips in place of half of the potatoes 3 bay leaves 2 Tablespoons fresh thyme leaves 5 Tablespoons minute tapioca 2 large cloves garlic, minced snipped chives for garnish Heat the olive oil in a  skillet.Brown the meat. Add the onion/shallots and celery to the skillet and saute until transparent. Add tomato paste, broth, beer and Worcestershire to skillet. Stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and carefully pour this mixture over the meat in the slow cooker. Add everything else, except for the snipped chives, to the crock and stir to combine. Salsa Roast

3 lbs chuck roast 1 pkg dry onion soup mix 2 cups water  1 cup salsa 1 tbsp oil In a medium frying pan, brown you roast in oil. Place meat in slow cooker and add the rest of the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Read More »
