MT. LEBANON (KDKA) – Robert Mangino took his show to Asti’s Pharmacy in Mt. Lebanon and he brought some cooking experts. Lisa Kozich, Jessica, and Candice make up “The Crock Pot Moms,” a group of local moms who are very popular on the Internet.

“The Crock Pot Moms” post videos of how to make recipes using a Crock-Pot. They make things you would never think were possible using a Crock-Pot.

The moms quickly learned the Mangino has a weakness for all things pumpkin, so they taught him how to make pumpkin cake.

“The Crock Pot Moms” want listeners to “just throw everything in” to the pot and make something special.

Listen to Mangino Tuesday-Friday from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.

CEO of Crock Pot Moms Lisa Kozich has started to reach outside her comfort zone. Until now she never realized how many women look up to her. She is a small town mom reaching celebrity status among others. You can say all her success is thanks to her son Owen. When he was born as a preemie and having declining health conditions she felt as if she was at a loss. That is when she first started her first blog. Being able to connect with other moms is what made her thrive. She then created the Mommy’s Club Garage Sale. This then prompted to create Crock Pot Moms. Now her recipes are all over the country and even the world. To CEO Lisa Kozich being able to connect with other and reach her followers worldwide is what makes her thrive. Now having had first appearance at Peters Township Library demonstrating and serving samples of some of her favorite dishes she is starting up in the industry of media. She isn’t holding anything back.

Speaking at Peters Township Library has presented her with how to understand and deal with the media and its followers. Since then, she is in the works of having a recurring spot on prime-time television next fall, with “Mommy Expert,” which will include talk on fashion, crafts, do-it-yourself projects and recipes. Crock Pot Moms will be prime time and be a success. She even is working on a book based on her recipes. Stay tuned and you will see Crock Pot Moms shine in the media.
