New Orleans Chicken & Yams

6-8 thawed chicken breasts
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup of red wine

Coat chicken in seasonings and place in crockpot – pour in wine and cook on low 6 hours.

At hour 7 pour two cans of yams (drained) over chicken and generously coat with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a couple teaspoons of brown sugar. At hour 8, take out and serve as a one dish meal (my family likes to put onion strings on top). Yummo!
