Paleo Apple Pork Tenderloin


4 Organic Gala Apples 1½lb – 2lb Pork Tenderloin Nutmeg 2 Tbsp Raw Honey (optional) Core and slice your apples. Add a layer of apples in the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle with nutmeg. Place slits in your pork tenderloin, and cut tenderloin in half if you need to so it can lay nice and neat in the slow cooker.Take one apple slice and place in each slit in the tenderloin. Put  tenderloin with apple slices in place into the crockpot on top of your layer of apples and sprinkle top with Nutmeg. Crockin’ Paleo Pork Spare Ribs

Ingredients •3-4 pounds pasture-raised pork ribs •2-4 cups white vinegar •1-2 cups pure water •1 tsp. sea salt •2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar or raw apple cider vinegar •3 Tbsp. coconut aminos or wheat-free tamari •Sea salt, to taste •Ground black pepper, to taste •Garlic powder, to taste •Chinese 5-spice powder, to taste Cover your ribs with white vinegar and water in a 2:1 ratio. Mix in a teaspoon of sea salt and soak 12 hours or overnight. Drain ribs thoroughly.Sprinkle each side of your ribs generously with sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder.Heavily coat each side with Chinese 5-spice powder until most of the meat appears covered in dark orange powder.Gently rub the seasonings into the meat on both sides, then place the ribs upright into your crockpot. Spare Ribs

1 (10.75) can condensed tomato soup 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 T brown sugar 1 T Worcestershire sauce 2T soy sauce 2 lb. pork spareribs 1 t cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water Place ribs in a large stock pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil on the stove and cook for 15 minutes.In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the tomato soup, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, & Worcestershire sauce.Remove ribs from water & drain. Put them in your crock pot. Pour the sauce over the ribs.Cover & cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender.If your sauce is too thin after cooking, pour it into a sauce pan. combine 1 t cornstarch with a small amount of cold water, stir into sauce, & bring to a boil. Ham Lentil Soup

1 1/2 – 2 c of cooked ham, diced 2 c of lentils, soaked the night before 1c of celery, chopped 1c of onion, chopped 1 c of carrots, sliced 4 cloves of garlic, minced (I use more) 1 t dried basil 1/2 t dried thyme 1/2 t black pepper 1 t crushed red pepper, optional 2 bay leaves (remove before serving) 32 oz of beef or chicken broth 2 c of water 1/2 c tomato sauce Don’t forget to soak beans the night before.Dump everything in slow cooker.Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. Pork Carnitas

1 4-5 lb pork butt/shoulder 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes & green chilies 1 large sweet onion, halved, thinly sliced/diced 1/3 cup cilantro, roughly chopped 3 Tbsp tomato paste [more as needed] corn tortillas Paste rub: 1 tsp chili powder 3-4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp cayenne 2-3 chipotle in adobo, chopped 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil 1 Tbsp lime juice 3 Tbsp taco or fiesta seasoning 1 tsp onion powder sprinkle of cinnamon salt & black pepper, sprinkle to taste Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour the tomatoes on the bottom. Sprinkle the chopped onion and cilantro on top.Mix together the ingredients for the paste. Rinse and pat dry the pork shoulder. Tasty Glazed Pork

3 1/2 – 4 lb Pork roast( I used a shoulder blade) 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/2 cup apricot jam(or orange marmalade) 2 cloves pressed garlic 1 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes 3 tablespoons ketchup Combine ketchup, pepper flakes, garlic, jam and soy sauce and mix until smooth. Brush the glaze over all sides of the meat. Cover and cook on low 8 1/2 hours. I made another batch of the glaze and brushed more on during the final hour of cooking. Ham and cabbage soup

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into small chunks 3 medium carrots, peeled and diced 1-1½ lbs cooked ham, cut into small chunks 1 medium onion, diced 1 small head cabbage, chopped into small pieces 4 cups chicken broth or 4 cups water and 4 chicken bouillon cubes ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 3 tablespoons cornstarch ¼ cup water Place all ingredients except cornstarch and ¼ cup water in a 4-5 quart slow cooker. Cook on low 8-9 hours or on high 4-5 hours. Just before serving, combine cornstarch with ¼ cup water until smooth. Stir into soup. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes or until soup is thickened. 6 – 7 lb. ham Bone-in Butt ¾ c. gingerale prepared yellow mustard 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. orange zest 20 whole cloves Corn starch for thickening is making sauce from drippings. Spray inside of crock pot with non stick cooking spray. If you are going to use the cloves, score the ham in a crosshatch pattern making 1 inch squares with cuts ¼” deep. Insert whole cloves at intersecting points.Pour gingerale over ham.Coat ham with mustard.Sprinkle orange zest over ham.Sprinkle brown sugar over ham. Set slow cooker on low. Cook uncooked ham for 7- 8 hrs and then check internal temp. Cook precooked ham for 4 hrs. and check internal temp. When ham is done remove from slow cooker and place on platter tenting it with foil. Let rest while you prepare optional sauce. Sauce - Strain liquid left in slow cooker into a saucepan. Taste to see if it needs any seasoning. Most likely it won’t need salt. Take 2 tbsp. of corn starch and mix with ¼ cup water to make a slurry. Over medium heat, add the cornstarch slurry to the hot liquid while stirring gently with a whisk. 6-8 thawed chicken breasts 6-8 bacon strips 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of chili powder 2 tablespoons of olive oil Put oil on bottom of crockpot.
